Georgia Medical Freedom Act would end health-board vaccine mandate power
Georgia's 2026 session saw bills to protect medical choice, examine immunization records in sudden child deaths, license community midwives, and make gold and silver legal tender, but none passed before the session ended. An expanded right-to-try law was signed in 2025.
No upcoming Georgia events listed yet. We add rallies, public hearings, board meetings and other ways to show up as we find them. Know of one? Tell us.
Make gold and silver legal tender
Makes gold and silver specie legal tender, creates a bullion depository and payment system, bans social credit scoring, and bars taxing gold and silver transactions.
Sound money and freedom from social credit scoring protect families' savings and independence.
Notify parents of school noninstructional services
Requires written notice to parents when a student receives certain noninstructional services from school employees and adds this to Georgia's Parents' Bill of Rights.
Parents, not the state, should know about and direct the care their children receive.
Review vaccine records in sudden child deaths
Requires coroners and medical examiners to include toxicology studies and immunization records when investigating a child's sudden, unexpected death, and gives them access to vaccination records.
Grieving families deserve complete investigations, and better data helps identify vaccine injuries.
Pass the Georgia Medical Freedom Act
Protects individuals' right to make their own decisions about medical interventions, bans exclusion based on them, and repeals the power of public health boards to require vaccinations.
No one should be forced to accept a medical intervention to take part in public life.
Cut the state income tax rate
The Income Tax Reduction Act of 2026 reduces the personal income tax rate.
Families should keep more of what they earn.
Label lab-grown meat at restaurants
Requires food service establishments to disclose when food contains cell-cultured meat or plant-based meat alternatives.
People have a right to know what is in the food they buy.
Expanded right to try (signed)
The Hope for Georgia Patients Act expands access to individualized investigational treatments for patients with severely debilitating or life-threatening illnesses, with written informed consent.
Seriously ill patients should be free to try treatments with their informed consent.
License certified community midwives
Creates a Certified Community Midwife Board with licensure and regulation of community midwives. A related bill adds a grant program for midwife-led birth centers.
Families should have access to qualified midwives and the birth setting of their choice.
