Nevada
Nevada's 2025 session saw birth-setting and naturopathic licensing bills die.
In 2025 Nevada considered a public health bill imposing requirements on births in hospitals and freestanding birthing centers, and a bill to license naturopathic physicians. Neither passed before the session ended.

New rules for hospital and birth-center births
The bill would impose requirements relating to birth in a hospital or freestanding birthing center, require certain insurance coverage, and make other public health changes.
Families should keep the freedom to choose where and how to give birth; this mixed bill needs watching.
License naturopathic physicians
The bill would provide for the licensure and regulation of naturopathic physicians and assistants and let homeopathic physicians dispense, administer and prescribe drugs in certain circumstances.
Patients should have access to natural medicine practitioners, though new licensing can also bring new limits.
