Florida's Medical Freedom Act died again in the 2026 special session
Florida lawmakers considered a Medical Freedom Act that would ban vaccine incentive payments and require information for parents before children are vaccinated, but it died in both the regular and special sessions. Bills to let patients refuse treatment, allow ivermectin without a prescription, and hold manufacturers liable for advertising harmful vaccines also stalled. A repeal of local business taxes failed as well.
