Delaware bill would require enhanced informed consent for infant vaccinations
A Delaware House bill in committee would require enhanced informed consent for infant vaccinations and documentation of vaccination in sudden unexpected infant death investigations. Delaware also enacted the Uniform Public Expression Protection Act in 2025. Two tax bills, on personal income tax subtractions and on farm structures, are pending in Senate committees.

Change personal income tax subtractions
Amends the personal income tax subtractions in Title 30 of the Delaware Code. Assigned to the Senate Executive Committee in June 2026.
The description does not yet say who benefits, so CODR is watching whether it lowers taxes for families.
Informed consent for infant vaccinations
Would require enhanced informed consent for infant vaccinations and documentation in sudden unexpected infant death investigations. A substitute bill was assigned to the House Health & Human Development Committee in June 2026.
Parents deserve full information before their infants are vaccinated, and infant deaths should be fully documented.
Property tax on farm structures
Changes how structures on land in agricultural, horticultural and forest use are assessed and taxed. A substitute bill was assigned to the Senate Finance Committee in March 2026.
Farm property taxes affect small farmers and homesteaders, so CODR is watching which way this bill moves.
Protect public expression from lawsuits
Enacts the Uniform Public Expression Protection Act in Title 10 of the Delaware Code.
People should be able to speak on public issues without being silenced by costly lawsuits.
